averaged 8 yrds per carry!!!! only got over 20 carries 1 time yet ran for over 150 yrds 4 times. 3 games he ran for 200+ yrds. 7 games he had at least one 40+ yrd run.

He is a true soph. Not going to go pro. Rushed for almost 700 yards his last 3 games. He will bring a good national story line to the game. Great match up with the gopher D.

Best was really impressive last night, good bowl game overall. Miami's freshman QB was also better than expected.

He had some of the biggest holes to run through that I have ever seen in my life. The Cal O-line cominated the line of scrimmage against Miami. There was one play that he broke for a 40+ yards that seriously had a five yard gap between the Center and the Guard and the Center was at the second level providing a punishing block on the LB.

Thankfully Cal's 3 time All-American Center is graduating this year and going to the NFL. The RT is also graduating. Hopefully the replacements are not near as good as what they are losing.
