Illinois Football Recruiting

Has anyone noticed what type of recruiting class that Ron Zook is putting together at Illinois? For a guy who is a "great recruiter", he is STRUGGLING. He has a TOTAL of nine commits. Two of those are visiting other schools this weekend. Two other verbals visited other schools within the last few weeks. If he loses any or all of them, he's in trouble.

The majority of fans want the U to go after Tony Dungy, as he is a passionate alum and is technically available. Not everyone is calling for Brewster to be fired. In fact, I'll bet there is a "silent majority" who doesn't spend all their time whining and complaining that still support him - at least until we see how his recruits turn out next year. As is normal with boards like GH, it is the small (and small-minded) group of negatoids that make the most noise.

That is Hilarious!! We produce maybe 4 to 5 good High School players a year. We could not win 1 game with a roster filled entirely of Minnesota Kids.
