It will be free! Comcast offering a free 24-hour preview of NFL Network as part of a deal they worked out with the U.

That is great news. One of the few times I am glad to have Comcast. Would rather be at the game in person but this helps!

Any idea what channel it will be on?

I have Comcast in MPLS and NFL Network is 180. The HD channel is 181. Hopefully the HD channel is free for a day also!

I signed up for the damn Sports Tier Package less than an hour ago, ARGH! Hopefully they can cancel it.

Any idea what channel it will be on?

on the comcast st. paul side of the metro system:

the nfl network is as follows if you have a digital cable box:

channel 180 (nfl network - standard definition)

channel 181 (nft network - HD)

and for some reason the nfl network is also listed as being available on channel 275 (standard definition)
