KFAN on demand: Lake excited about Gopher Hoops

Decent listen. First 3-5 minutes are about the NFL but the rest is about Gopher basketball. Takes calls, talks Gophs. Apparently Lake isn't too excited about the 11 am tip-off against MSU like many here.

Lake has good reason to be excited. If they capitalize in the next couple weeks with a couple more big wins, the Gopher men's basketball team thanks to Tubby's name brand has a chance to once again make this a Gopher basketball town (becoming the "it" team, behind only the Vikings). ... especially among winter teams. The T-Wolves are a mess & the Wild's best player is a pu**y. Eventually the karma from a state-of-the-art facility will wear out if the Wild don't start spending money & winning big. Just the fact that I heard the Gophers mentioned on KFAN twice in the last couple days tells me the Gophers are becoming relevant. KFAN rarely says "boo" about Gopher basketball, so that's a good sign.
