Don't look now, but former Golden Gopher Thomas Vanek is leading the NHL with 24 goals. Not far behind him with 21 goals is another Golden Gopher, Phil Kessel. And fifth in the league in scoring? Minneapolis native Zach Parise. Blake Wheeler is +18 on the year for Boston, which ranks 4th in the league. He is also one of the top scoring rookies. Nice to see Minnesota making its presence known in the NHL.
