The Cards played badly
The refs sucked (they sucked both ways)
The quick turnaround hurt

Louisville is a talented team, but they looked like the lesser of the two teams out there today. This was no flukey thing. No doubt the quick turnaround had them down a little, but if you match these teams up again under different circumstances, it's still a competitive contest. I'd say the Gophs win 3 or 4 out of 10 matchups.

All those are true, but a #9 team should still be able to overcome those.

Importantly, Louisville is playing a lot of upper class (2 seniors & 2 juniors) players with NBA talent. We're playing 3 true Frosh (RSIII, Joseph & the Big I) & a coupe of sophs (Blake & Al). Bottom line, this is December and by March we could be a whole lot better.
I have to agree with Goldteam on this one.
I can't say what kind of town Louisville is, having never been there, but I really don't care what they think. I'm just happy to be 10-0!!!:D
